A Little Help From Cy’s Friends

Just a few of Cy’s BFFs that he loved running around with this past month.

Levi

Levi is one of Cy’s bestest friends. Probably because Levi’s pet mom is also one of my best friend. Usually around older dogs Cy takes on an energetic puppy role, but with Levi, he just likes to hang.

Favorite things to do:

• Run off lead at the park

• One-up each other on who gets to walk up front

• Make their moms spill coffee

Marley

When Cy first met Marley, Marley borked at him. But turns out Marley likes borking. And turns out Cy likes to join in on occasion. After only a few hours, Marley and Cy became a pack. When Marley didn’t like something Cy had his back. When Cy didn’t like something Marley was angry too. Marley also taught Cy how to ride the elevator, though Cy learned the hard way about walking out of the giant moving metal box as the doors were closing (he wasn’t harmed).

Favorite things to do:

• Borking

• Borking at motorcycles and small dogs that look like squirrels

• Strutting down LA streets

Koobie

Koobie is technically Cy’s cousin, both rescued. They started off a little rough as Koobie defended her food from Cy… This was before we knew Cy was sick, so I like to think that Koobie was protecting Cy from her food. Cy definitely acts like a little pup around Koobie and the two of them just love play running.

Favorite things to do:

• Play bow

• Wrestling

• Letting out the zoomies
